The place is so interesting that revoking the Hogsmeade visit privileges of students was considered a grave punishment. One of the biggest concerns is definitely the regulation on magic. Why is the village so dependent on Hogwarts for its sustenance, why is Hogsmeade not an independent tourist locale in the wizarding world?
